This piece was created as a part of my 2016 project #AbstractAffirmationsDaily where I share an abstract piece of art with a positive message every day. Here's the story that accompanies this piece, posted on 8/28/2016:

Today I spent a lot of time trying to anticipate things for Thursday's launch. Testing this and that workflow, on multiple browsers, using different devices… making sure every scenario I could think of was accounted for. Honestly it’s enough to make anyone's brain turn to mush!

Just when I felt like I had tested EVERYTHING, Jason tried going through the workflow and encountered one more scenario I hadn’t thought of. For a moment I got frustrated but then I took a deep breath and reminded myself:

You simply can’t anticipate EVERYTHING.

You do your best, you think it through, but then you let the rest go, knowing that the only way to tweak things and make them seamless is by launching whatever you're making and getting REAL people to test it. In life we spend a lot of time worrying about things, trying to anticipate every scenario, when in fact our time might be better spent not anticipating but actually LIVING, and then responding to what happens instead.
