These original art pieces were created through the lens of this month's theme. Hover over each piece to read more about its origins, and be sure to scroll down to The Gallery to download each piece in various forms to surround yourself with HEARTFUL art inspiring freedom all month long. My hope is that each piece serves as both a visual cue and a thought-stirring catalyst for self-discovery.
Inspiring Renewal Resources
This article focuses on the renewal of society through the renewal of the individual, and it has incredibly poignant pieces that go deeper on this month's themes. Two particular quotes I loved:
"A society decays when its institutions and individuals lose their vitality."
"Renewal is not just innovation and change. It is also the process of bringing the results of change into line with our purposes."
I've always loved Danielle LaPorte's ability to ask simple yet profound questions. Her vibe is where mystery meets mastery to me, and I loved this post of hers about questions to evaluate what worked in 2016 (and how to catapult that into a renewed focus for 2017.)
Love this post by Jonathan which talks about not going after a singular vision, but instead letting it unfold from a place of your values. This is what renewal through alignment is ALL about for me and it mirrors a concept I go into in Connecting With Your Core called The Invisible Future. Great read, and you might also enjoy Jonathan's latest book (which I did the cover art for!) called How To Live A Good Life.
For you science/brain nerds out there, here's a post that talks about the real brain chemistry of what happens when we encounter novelty. A fascinating study on how we can trick our brains into experiencing motivation and growth.
